After graduating from Central St. Martins School of Art and Design, London, with a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design (with print) amazing opportunities arose in PR, at Stephen Jones Millinery and then at Hussein Chalayan.
Danielle needed an outlet for her imagination and creativity and realised her love of styling whilst in the role of first assistant to Seta Niland working on numerous editorial projects for The Face, Self Service, Vanity Fair, GQ and Sunday Times - just to name a few.
As first assistant she also worked with high profile artists including the Spice Girls and Texas, on The Brit Awards, Top of the Pops, GMTV and Comic Relief including pop videos for Texas’ Black-Eyed Boy, Put Your Arms Around Me and Say What You Want and on major advertising campaigns for such brands as Walkers Crisps and Pepsi-Cola. Designer shows included Alexander McQueen and Owen Gaster.
Danielle’s style is dramatic and odd with a quirky twist. She often plays with an element of surrealism. As a freelance stylist, Danielle styled regularly for The Guardian Weekend Supplement and has worked for various high-profile publications and fashion designers and is regularly employed as a consultant for other companies.
Clients and roles include: Fashion Stylist on numerous projects for Fashion Designer Jayne Pierson, 125 Magazine, Blown Magazine, Sebastian Professional and Wella.
Photographers with whom she has collaborated include Derrick Santini, Diego Indraccolo, Donald Christie, Gunnar Tufta, Jeff orGina, Ric Bower as well as Sheyi Bankale (Next Level Magazine).
